Here are the questions guests ask most. If yours is not here, just ask us.

Can I book by phone?

Yes. Once payment arrives we hold the room and close those dates. For a first stay we suggest booking on the website; the price is the same.

Can I pay on arrival?

We prefer payment before we hold the room, so the room is definitely yours. Some guesthouses accept payment on arrival, but that model sometimes means being placed in another property, and we have chosen not to work that way.

Are meals included?

The room rate covers the room only. Breakfast, lunch and dinner can be ordered separately — free-range chicken from our bamboo grove, high-altitude vegetables and seasonal bamboo shoots. Please let us know a day ahead.

Can I bring a pet?

Not at the moment, sorry. For hygiene and the comfort of other guests we do not keep cats or dogs here either.

Can I book the whole house?

Booking all five rooms means the house is yours, which suits families or a group of friends; no other guests will be staying.

What is there to do nearby?

Shenxi Canyon rafting is five minutes away by car; the Shenxi rock field and Laoshikan reservoir are about ten minutes; Longwang Mountain and the Zhebei Grand Canyon are a little further. See "Around us" for details.
